Investigator's Observations

Investigator(s): Craig Woolheater

This investigation was conducted as a result of an incident that allegedly occurred on the outskirts of Mountain Home, Arkansas in Baxter County, in May of 1995.

I interviewed the witness in March 2000. He added no additional details to his original report. He was certain that he had seen a juvenile sasquatch bolt through out of the woods and through the yard.

The witness said the subject's height was no more than four feet. It was brown, covered with hair and bipedal. He could provide no other viable explanation for what he saw except perhaps an escaped chimpanzee. However, he said the the fleeting glimpse he got of the face gave him the impression that it appeared more human-like without the protruding jaws of a chimpanzee. Its nose seemed to be flat and wide.
